Founded in 2002, Major League Gaming (MLG) is the dominant media property exclusively targeting tens of millions of consumers worldwide who have a passion for playing video games as a competitive social activity. MLG tapped 540 SEO to perform an extensive site-wide SEO audit, conduct keyword research and optimize its top pages.
Through extensive analysis, 540 SEO created a comprehensive SEO audit document that identified issues and provided critical recommendations for improving MLG.com’s ranking ability. All major SEO elements from page title construction to subdomain naming, canonicalization and sitemaps were included in the report.
Keyword research was performed for the site’s top pages to better define search terms the site should be targeting, and those terms were mapped to appropriate pages. All pages were then optimized and scored for keyword relevance.
